Work Opportunities: As the Engineering Manager for our Customer Care team within the Safety and Civility org, you will lead initiatives to build automated and interactive systems that resolve issues for the Roblox community. You’ll manage significant parts of our public and internal facing applications and report to the Senior Director of Engineering, Trust & Safety.
Role Overview: The Engineering Manager will guide large cross-functional projects that impact multiple teams, driving the roadmap, charter, and vision for the team.

Uphold high coding standards and establish new ones to enhance development practices.
Work for your team to unblock issues and bridge gaps between different organizations.
Mentor engineers to ensure continuous growth and expertise within your team.
Be guided by our vision to put the Roblox community first and represent us through thought leadership.
Desired Experience:
2+ years of experience as an engineering manager.
8+ years of experience in large-scale software development with a track record of delivering high-performance solutions.
Proficient in architecture and implementation discussions, especially for large-scale distributed systems.
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in programming with compiled languages (Golang, C++, C#, Java) and interpreted scripting languages (JS, PHP, Python, Lua).
Additional Skills: NLP and/or LLM experience is a plus. Demonstrated experience in cross-team and discipline collaboration.

Compensation: The role offers a salary ranging from $283,780 to $331,640 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and comprehensive benefits.
