• Role Overview: As the Engineering Manager for the MetaMask Snaps team, you will play a critical role in the next phase of MetaMask’s evolution. This position involves leading a team dedicated to enhancing MetaMask with new functionalities through the Snaps feature, enabling users to install and use community-built features seamlessly.

• Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Snaps Lead Engineers to deliver on project roadmaps.
  • Mentor and manage the Snaps engineering team, fostering career development and performance.
  • Drive engineering hiring efforts and maintain a robust team culture.
  • Advocate for the Snaps team’s interests within the broader MetaMask organization.
  • Partner with Product and Program Managers to align the team’s outputs with strategic goals.

• Desired Experience:

• • 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • 2+ years in a management role within a software engineering team.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and web development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation: This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $163,000 to $223,000, not including bonus, equity, or other benefits, based on experience and qualifications.
