Role Overview: The Business Operations Lead at Polygon Labs will support and optimize operations across multiple teams. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, this role focuses on enhancing the day-to-day activities of both the leadership and broader teams, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead organizational planning alongside various functions to set objectives and key results (OKRs), manage quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and oversee resource planning and hiring.
Regularly evaluate and refine business processes to reduce complexity and enhance operational efficiency, including the initiation and scaling of new projects.
Continuously assess and improve the utilization of current systems and software, recommending and implementing upgrades or new solutions as needed.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize the effectiveness of remote work practices across global operations.
Collaborate on leadership development, succession planning, and organizational design to foster a strong leadership pipeline and effective organizational structure.
Desired Experience:
At least 6 years in project management or strategy and operations, with a proven track record of optimizing business processes.
Strong strategic thinking ability, with expertise in solving open-ended problems and improving operational systems.
Excellent communication and analytical skills, capable of managing change and influencing decision-making across the organization.
Demonstrated ability to execute recommendations and lead projects to successful completion.
Familiarity with the blockchain and web3 ecosystem is advantageous, with a keen interest in staying abreast of industry developments.
