Role Overview: The smart contract security researcher will engage deeply with blockchain technology and smart contract security. This role involves performing security audits, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments to enhance the security protocols of our clients’ projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed security audits and assessments on smart contracts and blockchain applications.
Develop and refine threat models for various blockchain protocols and architectures.
Collaborate with developers and project teams to understand their security needs and provide expert advice.
Contribute to the development of security tools and practices within ConsenSys Diligence.
Stay updated with the latest security threats and countermeasures in the blockchain space.
Desired Experience:
Proven experience in blockchain technology and smart contract development.
Strong understanding of Ethereum, Solidity, and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
Experience with common security vulnerabilities and risks associated with blockchain and smart contracts.
Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of DeFi protocols, experience with advanced security frameworks, and familiarity with cryptographic protocols are highly valued. Contributions to open-source projects or security research publications are a plus.

Compensation: This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $209,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with benefits and equity options.
