Role Overview: The Senior Backend Engineer will join our Platform team, working at the intersection of Web2 and Web3 technologies. This role is pivotal in driving the scalability, reliability, and extensibility of our systems, supporting hundreds of developers and thousands of customers. It involves tackling some of the most challenging technical problems in Web3.
Responsibilities:
Architect and design core services for downstream engineering teams to develop end-user products on multiple chains.
Maintain and innovate on multiple business-critical micro-services such as Search, Identity, and Listings.
Collaborate with product development teams to build comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
Foster a culture of coding excellence and technical innovation.
Desired Experience:
6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience in leading teams or managing cross-functional projects.
Proficiency with various data systems (SQL, noSQL, data warehouses).
Extensive experience with Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS, GCP).
Proven ability to scale backend systems and databases to handle high query volumes.
Additional Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Adept at problem-solving and technical challenges.

Compensation: The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $250,000, plus equity options, flexible PTO, comprehensive health benefits, and a wellness and work-from-home allowance. Additionally, a 401k plan is available for U.S. employees.
