Role Overview: Kraken is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in React Native and Node.js. This role involves maintaining high-performance mobile applications and leading a full-stack engineering team to ensure the delivery of secure, user-friendly, and innovative self-custody wallet solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhancements.
Address and resolve performance bottlenecks within the applications.
Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends to keep the applications competitive.
Mentor junior developers and ensure high standards of code quality through regular code reviews.
Desired Experience:
A minimum of 6 years of software development experience, particularly in web and mobile application platforms.
Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native frameworks.
Experience in blockchain or Web3 applications with a sound understanding of EVM and smart contract interactions.
Proficiency in handling RESTful APIs and WebSockets, as well as familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and testing frameworks.
Additional Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong communication skills. Interest or experience in UI/UX design principles.
