Work Opportunities: Kraken is currently seeking a Software Engineer to enhance its full stack engineering team, focusing on self-custody wallet solutions. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining advanced codebases in React Native and Node, catering to the platform’s scalability and performance.
Role Overview: The Software Engineer will be instrumental in crafting high-quality mobile applications using React Native and ensuring seamless feature integrations with cross-functional team collaboration. This role involves staying abreast of new technologies, conducting rigorous research, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
Collaborate with teams across Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to integrate new features.
Contribute to the architectural and design decisions of mobile applications.
Identify and resolve performance issues to maintain efficient codebase operations.
Desired Experience:
A minimum of 2 years in software development, with proficiency in mobile applications.
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native framework.
Experience in blockchain or web3 applications, with familiarity in EVM and contract interactions.
Proficient in RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and frontend testing frameworks.
Additional Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Experience with ReactJS, Next.js, and native mobile app development is advantageous.

Compensation: The targeted annual salary range is $110,000 to $176,000, exclusive of bonuses, equity, wellness allowances, and other benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) [US Only].
