Role Overview: The 2D Animator position involves creating expressive and dynamic character animations using Toon Boom and After Effects. The role is critical in translating our heartwarming stories into visual forms that resonate with audiences worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality 2D animations that enhance our digital storytelling.
Proficiently use animation software like Toon Boom and After Effects to meet production deadlines.
Create versatile character rigs for smooth animations.
Participate in conceptualization through sketches and storyboards.
Collaborate closely with the creative team to align animations with overall project goals.
Adapt and iterate on animations based on feedback and project needs.
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in 2D animation, specifically character animation.
Proficiency in Toon Boom, After Effects, and potentially other animation software.
Demonstrated ability to rig characters and animate them expressively.
Strong sketching and storyboarding skills.
A portfolio showcasing compelling character animations and storytelling.
Additional Skills:
Experience with animatics and a creative mindset are highly desirable.
Familiarity with digital art and storytelling platforms is beneficial but not required.

Compensation: The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $78,000, relocation assistance, health benefits, and the opportunity to be part of a meaningful and rapidly growing brand. Initial remote work transitioning to onsite in Miami after 60-90 days, with flexibility to ensure a workday overlap of at least 5 hours with Miami, FL, USA.
