Role Overview: Pudgy Penguins is actively seeking a talented 2D Illustrator with a focus on character design to join our creative team. This role is pivotal in bringing our characters to life with engaging and resonant illustrations.
Responsibilities:
Develop original and appealing 2D character designs that align with our brand’s storytelling goals.
Produce high-quality illustrations for storytelling, merchandise, digital experiences, and social media content.
Engage in conceptualization and sketching, refining ideas into finalized designs.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure designs meet our brand’s vision and objectives.
Adapt designs based on feedback and project requirements.
Desired Experience:
6+ years of experience in 2D character illustration.
Exceptional drawing skills with a focus on character design, expressions, and emotional conveyance.
A unique artistic style that matches the brand identity of Pudgy Penguins.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback.
Additional Skills: Willingness to relocate to Miami after a 60-90 day probationary period is required.
