Role Overview: As a Business Onboarding Specialist, you will be at the forefront of Kraken’s client engagement, responsible for the seamless integration of institutional clients into the Kraken platform. This role demands a keen understanding of KYB (Know Your Business) and CDD (Client Due Diligence) practices to ensure compliance and high-quality client interactions.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the onboarding of new business clients, ensuring compliance with KYB and CDD requirements.
Conduct thorough client research using open source databases.
Collaborate with the Compliance team to meet KYB standards.
Manage client communications effectively to maintain high service levels and client satisfaction.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry practices.
Desired Experience:
1+ year of experience in financial services or crypto industries, with a focus on client onboarding.
Proficient in regulatory frameworks related to KYB/CDD and AML.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Additional Skills: Fluency in a second language is advantageous. Experience in KYB/CDD processes within financial, compliance, or crypto sectors.
