Role Overview: As a Data Engineer at Kraken, you will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, optimize data flows, and ensure high data quality across the platform. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive business decisions and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.
Augment the data platform to include data from external systems.
Ensure data integrity and compliance across all pipelines.
Develop tools and frameworks to automate data tasks and enhance data accessibility.
Desired Experience:
4+ years in data engineering with expertise in data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow.
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation using frameworks like Spark/PySpark.
Experience with data warehouse technologies and data modeling best practices.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
