Role Overview: At Sorare, a pioneering fantasy sports gaming platform, we are currently seeking a visionary leader to helm our Data Analytics organization. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape the data strategy at one of Europe’s fastest-growing startups, directly reporting to the CTO.
Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and expand a top-tier team of data analysts.
Forge robust cross-functional partnerships to foster a data-driven culture across the organization.
Drive strategic decision-making through rigorous data analysis, influencing product development and business strategies.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership to inform and execute the company’s business and product roadmap.
Desired Experience:
Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant quantitative field.
Over 6 years of experience in data-focused roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
Proven track record of managing and scaling data teams, and developing data strategies from the ground up.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data sets into actionable insights.
Exceptional project management and communication skills, capable of leading high-impact projects and presenting to stakeholders.
Additional Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools like Python and SQL, experience with machine learning techniques, strong business acumen to link insights with business strategies, and expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
