Role Overview: The Director of Privacy Engineering will spearhead our efforts to integrate robust privacy practices across our platform, collaborating closely with legal and engineering teams to align with global regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
Establish and lead a team skilled in security, governance, compliance, and engineering.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory landscape, adapting strategies to comply with global privacy laws.
Serve as a bridge between technical teams and legal counsel to ensure the alignment of policies and practices.
Champion privacy and data protection principles across the organization.
Desired Experience:
Extensive knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Proven track record in leading privacy-focused engineering projects.
At least 12 years of experience in leadership roles within tech or related fields.
Additional Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities. Innovative and strategic approach to problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
