Role Overview: Sorare is seeking a Localization Specialist responsible for overseeing the translation and cultural adaptation of our products into multiple languages. The role requires coordination with external translation vendors and internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality translations that resonate with our global user base.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire localization process, including workflow, timelines, and tooling improvements.
Work directly with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and Marketing teams to integrate localization seamlessly.
Handle translations for at least one key language directly, ensuring adherence to Sorare’s tone and cultural relevance.
Conduct quality assurance checks to identify and resolve linguistic, functional, or cultural discrepancies.
Enhance and optimize the localization strategy and execution to support global expansion.
Desired Experience:
Proven experience in digital product localization, with a strong track record of managing complex localization projects.
Excellent command of English and fluency in French; additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, or German preferred.
Experience collaborating with external vendors and internal stakeholders to meet quality and deadline expectations.
Additional Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
