Role Overview: The Service Management Principal Software Engineer will design and develop a unified interface for service management across Roblox. This role involves enhancing how our engineers build, test, and ship software, making their processes more efficient and effective.
Responsibilities:
Partner with internal engineering teams to develop a comprehensive service management platform.
Lead the creation and implementation of tools that manage thousands of changes daily.
Collaborate on cross-functional architectural solutions that support robust, long-term growth.
Mentor engineering teams, promoting best practices in automation and efficiency.
Desired Experience:
8+ years in software engineering with experience in both backend and frontend development.
Strong track record of designing and implementing tools used at scale.
Proficient with cloud technologies, Docker, Containers, and CD Platforms.
Knowledge of Hashi Corp, Kubernetes, and familiarity with common industry build/test/CICD technology.
Additional Skills: Full stack development experience using languages such as Go, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJs, TypeScript. Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication abilities and a collaborative approach to team projects.
