Role Overview: As a Principal Software Engineer in Experience Containerization, you will develop cross-platform technology for Roblox’s game engine, facilitating robust and performant UI across various digital experiences. This role is pivotal in building foundational frameworks for both internal engineers and external creators.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain frameworks that enhance user interface functionalities across platforms.
Lead collaborative efforts with other engineering teams, product management, design, and QA.
Focus on long-term code sustainability and maintainability, including writing and maintaining tests.
Desired Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in developing applications with complex user flows on desktop or mobile environments.
Strong proficiency in UI technologies similar to React/Redux or React Native.
Additional Skills: A keen interest in developing a new UI platform utilizing Roblox’s proprietary game engine.
