Role Overview: The DevSecOps Engineer role within the MetaMask & Infura Group at ConsenSys involves creating and maintaining robust, scalable backend services to enhance the security and usability of MetaMask. This position plays a crucial role in managing our development and production infrastructure across multiple cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop, upgrade, and maintain infrastructure with high cybersecurity standards across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to enhance code deployment processes.
Conduct security audits and coordinate with development teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle.
Engage in proactive problem-solving and the implementation of cutting-edge security practices to protect user data and digital assets.
Desired Experience:
2+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in software engineering.
Expertise in cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and containerization technologies.
Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
Additional Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript/NodeJS/TypeScript, GoLang, Python. Experience with microservices architectures and modern application security practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.

Compensation: For US-based candidates, the salary range is $100,000 to $243,000, not including bonuses or equity, dependent on experience and qualifications.
