Role Overview: As a Senior Frontend Engineer for MetaMask, you will play a critical role in developing the interfaces that allow millions of users to interact securely and efficiently with Web3 technologies. You will be focused on enhancing MetaMask’s portfolio, asset views, and NFT experiences across our platforms.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize frontend features for MetaMask’s applications, ensuring a seamless and effective user experience.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and other technologies across MetaMask’s platforms.
Test and improve frontend performance to maintain speed and scalability.
Desired Experience:
6+ years of experience in frontend development, with expertise in frameworks such as React, React Native, Vue, or Angular.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling.
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript, as well as modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design, along with understanding of CSS and CSS preprocessors like Sass and LESS.
Additional Skills: Experience with blockchain technology, specifically Ethereum, and familiarity with ERC-1155 and ERC-721 specifications. Demonstrated ability to lead projects or mentor other team members.

Compensation: For US-based candidates, the salary range is $79,000 to $203,000, dependent on experience and qualifications. This range does not include potential bonuses or equity options.
