Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Protocol Engineer to join our Protocols team. This role involves using Java to design and develop distributed systems and scalable software that underpins the Ethereum blockchain. You will collaborate with a global community of researchers, engineers, and product teams, contributing significantly to next-generation blockchain technologies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize core blockchain protocols using Java.
Engage with the global Ethereum community to synchronize efforts and enhance the blockchain’s functionality and security.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver robust blockchain solutions.
Drive innovation in blockchain technology, maintaining and advancing the core infrastructure.
Desired Experience:
Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
A solid understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
Interest in applied cryptography and secure software development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
