Role Overview: Joining ConsenSys as a Senior Java/Kotlin Backend Engineer means becoming part of a team that is building the future of the Ethereum ecosystem. Our Linea project focuses on enhancing Ethereum’s scalability and security through zkEVM validity rollup technology, making it an ideal platform for secure and efficient dApp development.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side architecture using Java and Kotlin.
Work on blockchain and Ethereum execution clients, with a focus on zk-rollups and consensus algorithms.
Engage fully in the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
Foster collaboration in an open-source environment, contributing to community-driven projects.
Desired Experience:
Strong expertise in Java/Kotlin with a solid understanding of backend systems.
Experience with blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum and consensus mechanisms.
Proven ability to work in an open-source environment and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of and interest in blockchain and zk-rollups is highly beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest technological advancements.
