Role Overview: The Quality Automation Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and reliability of our software products. This position involves designing, implementing, and executing automated testing solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery in collaboration with development and quality assurance teams.
Responsibilities:
Defining testing strategies and implementing testing for new features.
Expanding existing automated test suites as part of our continuous integration flow.
Collaborating with Customer Success, product, and engineering teams to prioritize key tests and scenarios based on historical issues.
Investigating production issues with engineers and conducting root cause analysis.
Defining and implementing metrics to assess product quality.
Supporting performance, load, and stress testing as part of overall quality assurance.
Desired Experience:
7+ years of experience in a Software Quality Engineer role or similar positions.
Proven experience in developing test automation frameworks.
Expertise in analyzing products to determine the best automation approach.
Strong understanding of web functioning, HTTP, API design, and web application development and testing.
Experience with microservice architectures and using mocked responses.
Additional Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills and a knack for root cause analysis. Strong communication skills, capable of discussing complex technical concepts with a diverse team.

Compensation: This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000, based on geography and other factors, along with equity options, flexible PTO, comprehensive health benefits, a wellness and work-from-home allowance, and a 401k plan for U.S. employees.
