Role Overview: We are looking for experts in Distributed Systems, Content Creation, and Voice and Natural Language Processing. These roles are critical in scaling real-time interactive experiences, enhancing content creation tools, and improving communication technologies across our platform.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers to identify and develop new research directions with a 3-5 year outlook.
Address fundamental technical challenges that align with Roblox’s strategic goals.
Engage in mentoring relationships, guiding both graduate interns and junior scientists.
Establish partnerships with leading academic institutions and contribute to the community through data collection, research, and publication.
Desired Experience:
Hold a Ph.D. or possess equivalent research experience in a relevant field.
Experience equivalent to a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
A track record of identifying and framing new research challenges.
Regular contributions to top-tier peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Additional Skills: Candidates should be recognized experts in their field, proficient in C++ and Python, and familiar with several domain-relevant libraries. They should be able to collaborate effectively in both academic and industry settings.

Compensation: Roblox offers a competitive salary ranging from $302,840 to $382,320 annually, based on job-related factors such as experience and market demand.
