In recent times, there have been many people making waves in the NFT space, and a 22-year-old Indonesian computer science student from Semarang is not left behind.

The young man, Sultan Gustaf Al Ghozali took the initiative to mint 1,000 selfies as NFTs.

The images were taken over four years, starting when he was 18 years old. He sold each of these NFT selfies for $3 each on the popular NFT marketplace OpenSea.

Ghozali said he wasn’t expecting to make so much from the images when he took them, or even after he minted them, but now his trade volume for his selfie NFT collections is worth ETH 315 ($1,041,325). This has turned him into an overnight millionaire at age 22.

Ghozali then asked people on Twitter to not abuse his photos. He said “You can do anything like flipping or whatever but please don’t abuse my photos or my parents will very disappointed to me. I believe in you guys so please take care of my photos.”

His statement is understandable especially with a lot of hackers and scammers in the NFT space making money off other artists’ work.
