Herman Miller, the American company that produces office furniture, equipment, and home furnishings, has filed a trademark application expressing its intentions to enter the metaverse and embrace non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
According to the trademark application, submitted to the USPTO on August 2, the company aims to offer:
- Virtual goods, namely furniture, home decor, outdoor furnishings, and more;
- Online retail store services featuring virtual goods;
- NFTs;
- Financial services, namely providing electronic transfer of a digital currency or digital token.
