Manchester City FC continues its foray into the world of Web3 technology as Alex Greenwood, the English female professional footballer for Manchester City, joins forces with the OKX Collective metaverse.

The collaborative initiative revolves around the exhibition of NFT football trainers, which were designed jointly by Greenwood and renowned NFT designer Nas.

The collection features a total of three pairs of football sneakers, each named after key attributes that Greenwood believes are essential for success in the sport: “Adaptable,” “Calm & Patience,” and “Commitment & Passion.”

These unique NFTs are currently on display within the OKX metaverse and can be obtained for free through an airdrop and as part of the ‘AG5 x OKX’ NFT collection on the OKX NFT marketplace.

Building on its recent success, Manchester City FC continues to innovate with other exciting initiatives. Just last month in April, the team’s captain, İlkay Gündoğan, partnered with OKX to introduce the immersive “Make Your Play” learning experience. Fans were provided with a unique opportunity to enhance their understanding of tactical football strategies and refine their in-game decision-making skills through a series of valuable lessons and expert advice.

In April, Manchester City FC also unveiled its seventh NFT drop, “Space Ballers,” which included an NFT created in collaboration with artist Jonathan Nash. The artwork presented football training in a fun and imaginative manner.

Last year, in May, the football club teamed up with PUMA to release an NFT drop commemorating the tenth anniversary of their first Premier League triumph and the unforgettable ’93:20′ moment.
