Currently, the feature is only offered to Twitter Blue’s subscribers on iOS, but the company expects to expand it to Android and web to make it available to all users.

Setting NFTs as Twitter profile picture
The process for setting an NFT as a profile picture on Twitter will be extremely simple, as users will just follow the same steps they normally use to change their profile pictures.

The new feature will appear through the voice “Choose your NFT”, and then users will need to connect their wallets.
On Twitter, the NFT profile picture will appear as a hexagonal shape, which distinguishes it from regular profile pictures.
By clicking on the NFT image, users can also view its details, such as its creator, owner, description, and form (e.g., rare).
Yesterday, Meta announced plans to enable users to show off NFTs on their profile pictures on Instagram and Facebook. It appears Twitter has anticipated the move, allowing part of its users to become fully engaged in this new digital experience.
