Walmart Launches Two New Immersive Metaverse Experiences

American multinational retail corporation Walmart has announced the debut of two new metaverse experiences on Roblox.

The two virtual experiences are Walmart Universe, a virtual toy destination, and Walmart Land, which delivers the greatest clothing, accessories, cosmetics, and entertainment products straight to the Roblox community.

Three significant experiences make up Walmart Land’s debut: 

• Electric Island, which contains an interactive piano walkway, a dancing challenge, a Netflix quiz experience starring Noah Schnapp, and a DJ booth;

• House of Style, which will offer products from af94, UOMA by Sharon C., ITK by Brooklyn & Bailey, Lottie London, Bubble and more; 

• Electric Fest, which motion-capture musical event including prominent artists like Madison Beer, Kane Brown, and YUNGBLUD.

Walmart’s Universe of Play includes five new games, virtual toys as rewards, and e-mobility items like hoverboards, which avatars can use to travel through the universe faster.
