In a new trademark application, Jim Brown, football player, sports analyst, and actor stated his intent to enter the metaverse and embrace non-fungible tokens (NFT).

According to the trademark application, he wants to provide downloadable multimedia files, video, images, audio recordings, e-books, and more, containing artwork relating to sports, and entertainment authenticated by non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The news was shared on Twitter earlier today by metaverse trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis.

Jim Brown is not the first professional athlete to express interest in entering the virtual world. The American football quarterback Tom Brady and basketball players LeBron James and LaMelo Ball have also filed trademark applications to enter the metaverse and provide non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
