The fashion company DKNY has filed a trademark application outlining its intention to jump into the metaverse and embrace non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

According to the trademark application, the company aims to provide virtual goods, including clothing, footwear, home decor, furniture, cosmetics, wallets, and much more, for use in virtual worlds.

DKNY also plans to provide NFTs, online retail store and marketplace services for virtual goods, and the provision of an interactive website for virtual reality game services.

Metaverse trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis announced the news earlier today via Twitter.

DKNY is not the first fashion brand to state its intentions to enter the metaverse. Several fashion companies have filed trademark applications to jump into this new, exciting virtual world, including Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s, Versace, Champion, among many others.
