Kiss bassist Gene Simmons has filed six trademark applications for variations of his money bag logo, revealing a plan to enter the metaverse and begin experimenting with non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

As revealed in the trademark application, shared through Twitter by trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis, Gene Simmons will provide virtual products, including clothing, eyewear, bags, sports equipment, art, and more.

His plans also include offering NFTs and cryptocurrency trading and exchanging services, namely, “providing a digital currency or digital token for use by members of an online community through a global computer network.”

There are many celebrities in the music industry who have expressed an interest in joining the metaverse.

A few days ago, American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish filed two trademark applications for her name and the Blohsh logo.

Popular stars like Paris Hilton and David Guetta have already taken part in the metaverse by hosting virtual DJ parties on Roblox.

It is merely an initial list that will grow over time as the metaverse trend emerges and more communities get involved.
